Galit Gun

I work with nonprofits, foundations, and multilateral organizations on campaigns and advocacy strategy. I also design and facilitate convenings that lead to consensus and action.

I've spent two decades working at the intersection of storytelling and campaigns, including as Head of Climate and Energy Campaigns at Greenpeace International, Head of Campaigns at UNICEF, and Senior Director of Strategy at Purpose.

I've partnered with dozens of organizations to develop strategy, implement campaigns, and refine their missions and theory of change.

A lot of consultants bring big creative ideas. I bring those too, but I've also spent years inside large organizations navigating donor constraints, coalition dynamics, political pressures, and real-world budgets — so I know how to build a strategy that can actually be executed.

Before we talk tactics, narrative, or creative direction, I make sure the fundamentals are in place: what are we actually trying to achieve, who has the power to make it happen, and what kind of campaign is the best way to get there.

When to bring me in

01Different parts of your organization are pulling in different directions and your communications and engagement efforts feel fragmented
02You have a sprawling body of work and need help finding the story that connects it
03Your teams are doing a lot — campaigns, content, engagement — and you need help stepping back, identifying what's actually working, and focusing without making anyone feel like their work doesn't matter
04You have a vision but need it turned into a concrete plan: the right tactics, the right story, and a clear path to action

I design and facilitate large multilingual meetings, and have developed tools and methodologies specifically to make participation more equitable and sessions more productive.

I also design and run workshops and trainings that draw on movement-building and design thinking to meet organizations where they are.

When to bring me in

01You have a high-stakes meeting with people from vastly different worlds — corporates, activists, academics — and need someone who can hold the room
02You want a facilitator who understands the climate space and the UN system but comes in without an institutional agenda
03You need to get teams with different goals and incentives — fundraising, advocacy, communications — into genuine strategic alignment
